Refund & Returns Policy

Version: 1.0 | Last updated: 13 October 2025

This Refund & Returns Policy applies to purchases of digital content made on hexhorizon.com. It explains when refunds are available, how to request one, and how we handle defective or undelivered items.

1. Who we are

hexhorizon.com is operated by GAMES LAND LIMITED, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 15743776).

Registered office: Dept 4558, 126 East Ferry Road, Canary Wharf, London, E14 9FP, United Kingdom.

Contact: info@hexhorizon.com.

2. Scope

This Policy covers the sale of Digital Content, including WordPress themes, plugins, templates, backgrounds and related assets (collectively, “Products”). We operate on a pay‑in only basis and do not offer subscriptions.

3. Statutory rights & cooling‑off

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you generally have a 14‑day right to cancel distance purchases. However, for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, you lose this right once you: (i) expressly request immediate fulfilment, and (ii) acknowledge that your right to cancel ends once download begins or a licence key is revealed.

Accordingly, before download/activation starts, you may cancel within 14 days and receive a refund. After download has started or a licence key has been revealed, refunds are not usually available except as described in Sections 4 and 5 below.

4. Defective, not‑as‑described, or incompatible items

If a Product is defective, corrupted, or materially not as described, we will, at our discretion, re‑supply the Product (e.g., a new download or corrected file) or issue a refund. You must provide details enabling us to reproduce the issue (e.g., error messages, environment specifications such as WordPress/PHP versions, and steps taken).

Where an incompatibility arises due to not meeting clearly stated prerequisites on the Product page, a refund may not be available. Always review the Product description and compatibility notes before purchasing.

5. Undelivered downloads or access issues

If you have paid but cannot access your download link or licence key within a reasonable time, contact us at info@hexhorizon.com with your order number. We will re‑send access details or provide an alternative download method. If we cannot deliver within a reasonable period, you may be entitled to a refund.

6. Duplicate purchases or accidental orders

If you inadvertently purchase the same Product more than once, contact us promptly. If the duplicate purchase has not been downloaded or a licence key has not been revealed, we will refund the duplicate amount or offer store credit. If downloads/keys have been used, we may decline a refund.

7. Non‑refundable cases

Refunds are generally not available where: (a) download has begun or a licence key has been revealed and you provided prior consent/acknowledgment; (b) incompatibility results from failure to meet stated prerequisites; (c) your request is based on a change of mind after access was provided; (d) Product misuse or unauthorised redistribution is involved.

8. Currency, taxes & exchange rates

Prices may be displayed in USD, EUR, GBP, AUD or NZD. The settlement currency and the amount payable are confirmed at checkout. Applicable taxes (including VAT, where relevant) are shown at checkout. Your bank or card issuer may apply their own FX rate and fees, which are outside our control.

9. How to request a refund

Email: info@hexhorizon.com.

Include: (i) order number, (ii) Product name, (iii) reason for your request, (iv) any supporting evidence (screenshots, logs, environment details).

We target acknowledgment within 2 business days and aim to resolve verified cases within 7–10 business days. If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method. Refund processing times by card issuers/banks vary; allow up to 10 additional business days after our confirmation.

10. Chargebacks

Please contact us first to resolve any issue. Unauthorised or unfounded chargebacks may be contested with evidence (order logs, IP, timestamps, download records). Initiating a chargeback does not guarantee a refund.

11. Effect of refunds on licences

Where a refund is issued for a Product that uses a licence key or requires activation, the licence may be revoked or disabled. You must cease use of refunded Products and delete any copies in your possession.

12. Abuse & fair use

We may decline or limit refunds in suspected cases of abuse, including repeated purchases and requests, redistribution or sharing of Products, or circumvention of licence controls.

13. Updates to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

This Policy and any non‑contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with it are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
